Launch

• Entrepreneurs apply online to MassChallenge 2013.

• Apply early and receive discounted application fee ($99)

April 4

Regular (Online)

• This is the last date to submit applications for the 2013 accelerator program. Regular application fee ($199) applies.

Round One Judging:

Regular (Online)

• Expert judges assess applications and provide feedback to entrants. Each application receives scoring and feedback from multiple judges.

Round Two Notification

• 300+ startups are invited to be semi-finalists and move on to the next round of judging.

Round Two Pitching & Judging

(In-Person or via Skype)

• Semi-finalist teams deliver 20-minute pitches (10 minutes to pitch, 10 for Q&A) to panels of judges in Boston, either in-person or via Skype.

May 22

Finalist Announcement

• The 125 most promising startups are invited to participate in the MassChallenge 2013 Accelerator Program as Finalists.

Move In

• Teams move in to the MassChallenge space at ONE Marina Park Drive in the Innovation District in Boston.

June 25 - October 30

MassChallenge

Startup Accelertor

• The 4-month startup accelerator includes access to world-class mentorship and training, a community of fellow entrepreneurs, funding opportunities, marketing, media, office space and other resources. Learn more about the MassChallenge Startup Accelerator.

June 25-27, July 1-2

MassChallenge Boot Camp

• Teams participate in a week of intensive training, covering topics ranging from funding to strategy to team building and marketing.

July 31*

Startup Showcase

• The first opportunity for the public to browse the progress and enormous value created by the MassChallenge Finalists in an open-floor expo.

August 28*

Minute to Pitch It

• A fast-paced evening of 60-second pitches from the MassChallenge Finalists.

September 18*

Internship & Job Fair

• A showcase of MassChallenge startups looking to hire talent to help grow their businesses.

October 1-4

Pre-Final Judging

• Finalists pitch to panels of judges highlighting their progress during the accelerator. 26 winners are selected.

Final Judging

• The 26 winning teams pitch to high profile judges, who determine cash prizes.

Awards Ceremony
