Head of Outreach

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Term: 90-day contract, with opportunity to transition to permanent staff

Time commitment: Full-time

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts

Primary responsibilities will include:
-Identify and implement new opportunities to accelerate consumer adoption of community solar through new outreach initiatives
-Oversee and manage outreach staff and fellows
-Establish, track, and measure staff-level and organization-level KPIs related to outreach
-Analyze the effectiveness of existing outreach approaches
-Develop go-to-market strategy for outreach related to community
-Refine outreach strategies directed at helping households in Massachusetts and across the Northeast adopt solar energy
-Provide strategic input on business decisions pertaining to pricing, staffing, and expansion
-Build relationships with key channel partners, validators, and other stakeholders
-Consistently monitor market research and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications for this role include:
-At least 5 years professional experience in outbound sales and marketing
-Previous professional experience with start-up organizations and/or clean energy and/or social enterprises
-Experience managing sales and/or marketing operations and staff
-Ability to articulate Solstice’s value proposition to key stakeholders with passion and energy
-Knowledge of and relationships with key stakeholders in the state of Massachusetts and regionally
-Ability and willingness to travel on a frequent basis
-Willingness to work evenings and weekends
-Access to a car
-Extraordinary attention to detail, highly-motivated, creative, proactive, team-oriented, self-starting and eager to work outside of an office setting.
