Web/Design Intern

MassChallenge Internship Program

The internship program is designed to recruit and mobilize entrepreneurial and motivated students and professionals to assist in organizing the inaugural MassChallenge competition.  In addition, the program provides a series of professional development and growth opportunities, discounted or free products/tickets and access to build ones network. 
 
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
 
Position Summary and Responsibilities:
The Web/Design Intern's overall responsibility is to support the staff in design and web maintenance.
 
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, to designing promotional event materials, maintaining and updating the website and developing organizational and evangelism packets.
 
Qualifications:
Strong candidates for this position will possess:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and/or Javascript
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator Acrobat, PowerPoint, MS Office, Flash, Dreamweaver
  • Preferred experience in using Drupal
  • Strong conceptual and typographic skills
  • Able to commit between 10-20 hrs/week
  • Must possess strong work ethic, outstanding organizational and communication skills, and thrive in fast paced environments.
  • Passion for the mission of MassChallenge and an unwavering belief in innovation and entrepreneurship.
