Microsoft and MassChallenge Announce Bridge to MassChallenge Australia

Bridge to MassChallenge Australia will include a nationwide startup competition to identify the highest-impact and highest-potential startups in the country. The top startups will receive intensive mentorship and training at boot camps in Australia. Next, Australian and international judges will select the top startups from the boot camps to participate in a further bespoke boot camp at one of the five MassChallenge accelerator locations around the world, which include Boston, the United Kingdom, Israel, Switzerland, and Mexico. 
 

Masschallenge Boston Opens Applications for 2016 Program

MassChallenge also announced the launch of MassChallenge Mexico, its fifth accelerator program globally, which will be located in Mexico City. Camila Lecaros has been appointed as the new Managing Director for MassChallenge Mexico. Applications will open for MassChallenge Mexico May 19th. 
 

Applications Open for MassChallenge Switzerland with Up to CHF 1 Million in Awards

The announcement took place at the first-ever MassChallenge World Startup Summit held in collaboration with the 2016 LIFT Conference, where top MassChallenge alumni participated in a pitch competition to win equity-free cash prizes totaling $10,000. All participating MassChallenge teams were inducted into the new MassChallenge Hall of Fame. Swiss startups also participated in a pitch competition.

MassChallenge Launches Newest Global Accelerator in Israel with Goal to Support 100 Startups in First Two Years

The accelerator combines MassChallenge’s no-equity, competition-based model with Israel’s dynamic innovation ecosystem. MassChallenge Expands Global Accelerator Network into Switzerland

MassChallenge Boston Celebrates Highest-Impact Startups from 2015

Over 1,500 members of the Boston startup community gathered to celebrate entrepreneurship at the sixth-annual MassChallenge Boston Awards Ceremony. The event featured a showcase of the 128 MassChallenge Boston startups, pitches from the top 26, and speeches from DraftKings CEO and Co-Founder Jason Robins, Governor Charlie Baker and Mayor Marty Walsh.
 

MassChallenge Expands Global Accelerator Network into Jerusalem

Key sponsors funding the expansion of MassChallenge Israel include the Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage, Jerusalem Development Authority, the City of Jerusalem, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, The Kraft Group, Bank Hapoalim, EMC and Herzog Fox Ne’eman. Earlier this year, MassChallenge announced that Israel Ganot, founder of Gazelle and veteran executive at eBay and PayPal, will lead MassChallenge Israel as Managing Director.
