World egg production industries rely on a single sex only (female for layers and male for poultry), while the other sex is usually disposed shortly after hatching.
This causes substantial ethical, environmental and economic problems.
Over 3 billion male chicks are killed annually.
We are developing a technology which identifies the sex at early stage of incubation, saves these chicks from being hatched, avoids their incubation and keeps the eggs within the food industry.
