Our flagship program — Nivien Therapeutics — is an oncology platform derived from Harvard Medical School. Our secondary programs range from opioid harm reduction to thermotolerant enzymes for industrial clean-in-place.

Strayos is a computer vision 3D aerial intelligence platform for Mining, Construction and Infrastructure operations to reduce cost, improve productivity and safety by providing highly accurate survey data analytics. Strayos proprietary SaaS platform increases mining and aggregate company ROIs, by automating tasks, directly reducing overhead and enabling enterprises to make actionable decisions from drone data.

We want to keep people out of the hospital by preventing disease using vaccines and immunity enhancing therapeutics. Our patented delivery system is differentiated because it’s non-toxic, economical to make and easy to purify. We are seeking funding to complete a clinical trial for our lead influenza vaccine candidate and to test our technology in other diseases. There are many opportunities to apply our platform technology in infectious diseases, allergy and cancer.

Existing patient nurse communication technologies provide limited options for patients, staff, and lack data driven capabilities for administrators which are costing healthcare facilities up to $4B through avoidable costs and cuts in reimbursements.

With RistCall devices, patients can be as specific as they want and staff can respond back using staff devices. Administrators can monitor patient staff interaction data for quality improvement projects.

Water Treatment & Technology

We are decentralizing wastewater treatment by installing on-site recycling systems into individual buildings. After collecting the wastewater—from toilets, showers, sinks— we process both the solids and liquids, using a proprietary process to convert the organic solids into high quality, organically based fertilizer. The separated water, with solids now removed, can then be treated and reused in the building. The system saves owners/developers money, and lightens the load on municipalities.

T cell therapy is a rapidly growing form of cancer treatment and many pharmaceutical companies are developing these therapies, all of which are still in the clinical trial stage. Despite positive results, a major problem called cross-reactivity is affecting the industry. In some cases, patients have died as a result of this cross-reactive side effect. As a service provider to pharmaceutical companies Structured Immunity has the patent pending technology to solve the problem of cross-reactivity.

Drug-resistant infections have become a public health crisis. We are at the precipice of the post-antibiotic era, where routine surgeries and standard in-patient care present unacceptable risk. Octagon has developed a novel approach to antibiotic discovery, which utilizes bacterial metabolism as a therapeutic target. Our lead development candidates, which show no effect in standard industry screens, have been shown safe and highly effective in animal models. This is a critical medical need.

Our tools allow staff to invent, our software helps hospitals track impact of these frontline innovators & our community gives health makers a platform to share DIY health devices globally.

Financial Technology

We are building technology that enables two people, anywhere in the world, to send money to each other instantly and at very low costs. Utilizing digital currency, we are able to provide users with a platform to send cheaper cross-border remittances than any option currently available, and due to the way our software is designed, we're able to do so with much less regulatory overhead than traditional remittance / peer to peer payment services.

Reia's first product is a fully redesigned pessary, a non-surgical device used to treat pelvic organ prolapse. Prolapse, a little known yet common condition, has been estimated to affect 50% of women over the age of 55 to varying degrees. While current pessaries are painful or impossible to insert and remove independently, Reia’s design enables today's women to manage their pessaries themselves, with comfort and confidence, so they can get support when they need it.

Autonomous Healthcare is developing a technology to optimize fluid and respiratory management in the ICU. The technology will analyze medical waveform data from mechanical ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring systems in real-time and provides recommendations to clinicians.

Our software platform automatically compiles information on over 40,000 faculty members from top research universities, including their financing, research themes, and contact information. We started by establishing collaborations with universities; our products helped start research projects at Harvard, MIT, Boston College, among others. Our mission is increasing research.

Y2Y is building a network of student run homeless shelters for young adults ages 18-24. Young adults are uniquely vulnerable on the streets due to high rates of LGBTQ identity and experience in foster care. Y2Y provides sanctuary to move guests quickly off the streets, surrounding them with resources to facilitate their pathways out of homelessness. Y2Y provides opportunities for guests and volunteers to become the next generation’s leading advocates for youth-driven solutions to homelessness.

Sales of adult incontinence products are forecasted to increase to $2.7 billion by 2020, but current solutions are unreliable and wasteful.

Many refugees in the current crisis are highly skilled, having completed high school and some college before the crisis. However, due to legal restrictions, they can’t work and are likely to seek income in dangerous illegal markets or possibly re-enter the conflict. WorkAround provides transitional employment to high-risk youth by connecting them with online microtasking opportunities that don’t require a work visa and offer payment alternatives to traditional banking that many lack access to.

Augmented reality has incredible potential for businesses, but the barrier to create enterprise apps is still very high. If a business wants to use AR today, they have to hire expensive AR developers who then use tools designed for developing video games, not enterprise apps, to create custom one-off applications. We are building a platform and tools that will allow any business to easily and securely create, edit, and deploy AR to their workers without needing AR developers or expertise.

According to the Word Health Organization up to 50% of medications worldwide are substandard or counterfeit. Veripad has created an affordable and portable solution that allows for rapid screening of medication quality. A user would simply place the medication in question onto our chemically pre-treated paper then place the paper in some water. The water then mixes the reagents with the medication to create a unique color pattern which our mobile app interprets.

UrSure Inc. aims to prevent HIV by driving adherence to the drug, PrEP. If taken daily, PrEP is 99% effective at preventing HIV infections in non-infected individuals. Nationwide, PrEP adherence is estimated between 20 and 50%, but UrSure Inc. has driven adherence to over 80% in its HIV prevention clinic in Philadelphia through its urine tests. UrSure’s urine tests are noninvasive and painless, cheaper, more accurate, and have a faster turnaround time than alternative PrEP tests, which are limit
