Did you know that 1 million children die needlessly every single year due to being born prematurely? What if I told you that according to the WHO 75% of these deaths could be prevented with simple treatments such as incubation. Current incubators are incredibly large, needlessly complicated and expensive. MOM is an inflatable incubator, created to dramatically decrease the size of traditional incubators whilst being available at 1/30th of the cost and retaining all the necessary features.

Biorasis is in the business of developing a miniaturized, hypodermic-injectable biosensor for reliable continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) with autonomous operation for 3-6 months that requires no user intervention. Our goal is to vastly improve the quality of life of diabetics. Our solution eliminates surgery for sensor implantation and extraction, restores active life style, enables remote care for juveniles and the elderly, enhances compliance, and saves 50-70% in annual healthcare costs.

What if I told you I could save one million lives every year with just refrigerator magnets and a laser pointer? For the 500 million annual infections that go undiagnosed, current malaria diagnostics are slow, expensive, inaccurate, and chemical-based, meaning they require refrigeration and clinical expertise.
But malaria parasites are magnetic. Our reusable, mechanical mechanical device offers a handheld, quantitative diagnosis for 1/10th the cost and 100x the detection level of competitors.

Donor breast milk (DBM) is used to enhance the chances of survival and long-term health of sick and premature babies who have no access to maternal milk. There is currently a lack of equitable access to DBM across the UK. The HMB will also establish a first-of-its-kind research biobank to enable novel studies, collaborating with scientists across nutritional analysis, cancer research, microbiomics, and optimal donor milk usage. Surplus revenue will support local perinatal services.

Annually 47 million people in the US fall victim to a water-borne infection. Current testing methods take 24 hours or more. This waiting time is too long for efficient quality control and to prevent disease outbreaks. Fluid-Screen brings the power of an entire lab into a portable device. Fluid-Screen detects bacteria in water in 30 minutes or less. The patent pending technology is based on a silicon biosensor chip developed at Yale University. We believe that Fluid-Screen will change the world.

QSM Diagnostics has the fastest and lowest-cost diagnostic sensor platform for identifying and monitoring common bacteria in blood, urine, sputum, or wounds. Our technology provides results in 1 minute by detecting electronic signals from unique bacteria-produced molecules with zero sample preparation. It will provide early guidance at the point-of-care to doctors and veterinarians treating infections. The instrument is battery powered and portable. Only 10 microliters of sample fluid is needed.

Imagine getting admitted to a hospital to get treated, but acquiring an additional infection. Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) is a Hospital acquired, fatal infection of the lungs, which happens in patients who are on the ventilator. Every year more than 250,000 patients succumb to VAP in India alone, while in US the reported cases of VAP are more than 120,000. Coeo Labs has developed an intelligent secretion and oral hygiene management system to effectively reduce the risk of acquiring VAP.

Stress is a silent killer. Where objective data is now critical throughout medicine and daily life, diagnoses and treatments of stress rely exclusively on subjective reports to evaluate symptom severity and trends. Neumitra (noo-MEE-tra) helps monitor and manage acute and chronic stress with wearable and mobile technologies for health, performance, and happiness. We compute recurring reports of personalized health to aggregate analytics from one person to thousands. Together we’ll solve stress.
