Did you know that 1 million children die needlessly every single year due to being born prematurely? What if I told you that according to the WHO 75% of these deaths could be prevented with simple treatments such as incubation. Current incubators are incredibly large, needlessly complicated and expensive. MOM is an inflatable incubator, created to dramatically decrease the size of traditional incubators whilst being available at 1/30th of the cost and retaining all the necessary features.

200 million people across India and Bangladesh suffer from arsenic and fluoride poisoning due to contaminated drinking water. Drinkwell transforms this $2.3B market into economic opportunity by blending novel water filtration with a franchise business model to provide 20L jugs of water daily to customers for a low monthly fee. Compared to reverse osmosis, the current best practice, Drinkwell delivers 60x more water, is 16x more energy efficient, and reduces waste by 7 orders of magnitude.

Miracle Messages helps homeless people record short video messages to their loved ones, and delivers them via social media as a step toward reuniting families. It’s deceptively simple, and it works. To date, our mobile and web apps have reunited 42 people, 14 of whom are now in stable housing. We just received a $200K grant to implement MM at a systems level in SF, and many other cities have reached out after learning about our impact from 350+ articles. Our goal is to reunite 1M people by 2021.

Silverside Detectors helps governments reduce the threat of nuclear terrorism. Our lithium thermal neutron detection technology matches the performance of standard He-3 radiation detectors, but at 1/10th the price. This inexpensive radiation sensor is low-cost and efficient enough to be a "connected device" for networks of discreet detectors within and around cities, in transportation pathways, and nuclear material storage sites.
