Vuforia
Vuforia SDK is by far the most widely adopted platform for enabling robust AR experiences. More than 250,000 developers use Vuforia, which has currently reached over 250 million downloads. In 2016, and for the fourth year in a row, developers around the world have voted Vuforia SDK the Best AR tool.
Ben Sorek, Vuforia software development director, explained how these applications appear in a wide range of industries and uses, from education tools, marketing campaigns, and sales, to industrial enterprise.
Alon Rotem, founder, BeerPic, demonstrated how Vuforia enables them to build an app capable of recognizing and giving feedback, and enriching information on any beer, by scanning of the label using Vuforia.
Orit Itzhar, PTC user interface senior technical consultant, led participants in a hands-on workshop using Vuforia Studio Enterprise, a powerful new solution for building and publishing AR experiences in the enterprise. Designed for content creators, Vuforia Studio does not require programming skills. Content creators can build experiences in just minutes, and can take advantage of existing 3D assets created with leading CAD tools.
