We Are In The Impact Era – MassChallenge Awards Ceremony 2013

The Top 26 of the MassChallenge Accelerator, 2013 are contributing to this monumental time in a big way. MC is drenched in startup innovation. Our Top 26 startups, representing global diversity and all industries, are ready and waiting to take the stage on October 30th in order to wow the masses once again. This date represents our ground-breaking Awards Ceremony and the final milestone of 2013s Accelerator.

This is the event of the year! So much is at stake and blood, sweat and tears are determined to not be wasted. In order to understand the immensity of whats at stake, try putting your pinky finger to your lip and reciting the famous line from Dr. Evil in Austin Powers. Yes, thats right, over $1,500,000 in accelerator grants will be awarded. Not only that, over $10,000,000 more in in-kind prizes. This is a no joke situation, where leading, high-impact startups are getting funded.

The Awards Ceremony is not just a platform to shell out much wanted cash; it is an arena to showcase the best of the best of the entire Finalist class of 2013. There are so many heavy hitters coming to flood the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center that will create massive buzz for Bostons startup community. This buzz is to be heard all over the nation and expand out globally. After all, MassChallenge is the worlds largest accelerator. 
 
The acclaimed George T. Whitesides, CEO and President of Virgin Galactic will be the Keynote Speaker of this epic event. Virgin Galactic already has 540 paying customers opting into its spaceflight experience. Tying into the space epoch, CASIS, NASAs choice for managing the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory, is giving a Prize for Technology in Space worth $400,000.
 
It is apparent that MassChallenges vision for this years Award Ceremony is out of this world, and we tend to think the talent is too. We think our startups embody genius traits. We hope you agree!
