Hope Hopkins, Head of Acceleration Programs

Hope Hopkins is the Head of Acceleration Programs and a leading advocate for growing New England’s entrepreneurial and innovative communities. Prior to joining MassChallenge Hope was a VP at the RI Commerce Department where she worked with companies in their expansion and relocation to the state. Hope has a consumer insights background and is able to draw on 18 years of experience in strategic planning to help companies develop and refine product lines, rejuvenate brands via a redefined messaging platform and execution.

MassChallenge in Texas

MassChallenge Texas is the second domestic location for the global accelerator with offices in Austin, Houston, and North Texas. Launched in 2017, the mission of these locations is to make Texas the best place in the world to start and scale a business. The accelerators in Texas have grown steadily each year, and traction across the state’s ecosystem proves that the MassChallenge model attracts and advances immense collaboration and fresh opportunities.

Jon Nordby, Head of Community and Ecosystem for MassChallenge

Jon Nordby is the Head of Community and Ecosystem for MassChallenge. Previously, Jon led the spin out of Houston’s Innovation Initiative, Houston Exponential, an office that serves as a catalyst for Houston’s Innovation economy bridging the gaps between startups, corporates, investors, academia and governments. He led the creation of the HX Venture Fund, the HX Capital and Growth Summits, 14 community-based committees, and the efforts that attracted MassChallenge to Texas. Jon was the Vice President of Talent and Acquisition for Greater Houston Partnership, co-founded a startup, and serves as a board member for multiple startups and projects including the Startup Genome Project and JobMedic.
