The Boston Consulting Group and MassChallenge Announce New Partnership

MassChallenge has deep experience helping the worlds largest brands gain access to the most exciting and innovative startups. Leveraging its global network of accelerators, MassChallenge supports the highest-impact and highest-potential startups from a wide variety of industries.

Through the partnership, MassChallenge will help BCG support the digital transformations of its clients across industries and give exclusive insight into the latest trends and innovations. BCG staff will take part in judging and mentoring MassChallenge startups and will participate in MassChallenge innovation workshops, its Global Bridge Summit, and other events with startups throughout the year. This will enable BCG to guide high-impact startups and connect them with opportunities to grow their businesses faster. MassChallenge will also cohost BCGs annual Lean Startup Summit, November 3 and 4, 2016, at its offices in London. The event will include a Minute to Pitch It competition for MassChallenge UK startups taking part in the 2016 accelerator program, which kicks off on May 19, and will involve innovation sessions with BCG staff and experts.

BCG is one of the most innovative consulting groups globally and employs some of the top minds in science, technology, and innovation. We look forward to helping augment their talent with our experience in the startup world and to connect them with leading startups from Israel, the UK, the United States, and our global network, said Mike LaRhette, president of MassChallenge.

By incorporating BCGs staff into the startup ecosystem, MassChallenge will help our talent sharpen their entrepreneurial skills while also keeping them up to date on the latest innovation trends and opportunities to help them deliver value to our clients. In this way, we can help BCGs clients stay ahead of the competition and also give startups a chance to connect with customers and opportunities, said Nicolas Harl a BCG senior partner.

The application process for MassChallenge UK and Mexico opens May 19. Interested startups may apply at masschallenge.org/apply. The Boston, Israel, and Switzerland programs will announce their 2016 startup cohorts May 19.
