Bridge to MassChallenge Taiwan Announces Top 27 Startups

BOSTON, MA – Bridge to MassChallenge Taiwan, an international startup competition that identifies and accelerates the top healthcare, high tech, clean tech, and social impact startups in the world, announced today the 27 startups that will participate in an intensive, week-long boot camp in Taipei from May 26 – 29, 2019.

During the boot camp, the 27 startups from 9 countries will have the opportunity to showcase during InnoVEX with an opportunity to win cash awards of up to $60K and a free 4-month acceleration in Taipei.

The program is a collaboration between MassChallenge and Taiwan’s leading startup incubators including ISI, DCB, and BE Capital, under support from Taiwan’s Small and Medium Enterprise Administration (SMEA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), to catalyze and support an Asian regional startup community in Taiwan.

Below is the complete list of startups selected to participate in the Taipei boot camp:

AESOP medicine (Taiwan): AESOP provide an AI software that identifies and predicts prescription errors and create a win-win solution for physicians and patients.

AetherAI (Taiwan): A pathology-focused AI development platform, allowing hospitals to build their own medical image AI models. 

Beeinventor Limited (HongKong) BeeInventor focuses on creating and developing IoT construction technologies 

DeepLearningTOEFL (USA): Leveraging artificial intelligence helps Chinese students overcome obstacle of TOEFL speaking test through real-time diagnosis and feedback.

DermAI (Taiwan): We are developing an AI-based, board certified dermatologist verified online skin analysis platform to provide precision skin care.

Guzip Biomarkers Corp. (Taiwan): Dedicated to finding novel DNA methylation biomarkers for clinical applications. 

Heroic-Faith Medical Science (Taiwan): Innovators working on an automatic early sympton awareness pulmonary monitoring system for critical care patients. 

HIGH5 TEST (Latvia): HIGH5 is a free strengths test that helps people to find out what they are naturally good at.

ID Water (Taiwan): We focus on creating unmanned shrimp farms through AI and IOT technologies and assisting farmers to increase their average harvest by 400%.

LONGGOOD (Taiwan): The first interactive rehabilitation software development company in Taiwan. 

Mass Sciences (USA): Our mission is to create the best solution to maximize healthcare value through advanced analytics

MeansGood (Taiwan): MeansGood is just like the Aerofarms in the Chinese herbal medicine cultivation industry. 

MedFluid (Taiwan): To deal with abuse of antibiotics, we use microfluidic to build personalized antibiotics screening platform that is faster and more precise.

MediVisionTech Co., Ltd (Taiwan): A real-time upper gastrointestinal (UGI) re-bleeding monitoring system is developed for early detection, while reduce current workload.

MTAMTech Corporation (Taiwan): Cost effective, accurate (similar to gold standard), rapid and reliable anti-cancer drug screening for personalized medicine and drug dev.

OppenFuture Technologies (China): Develops realistic object and scene 3D capturing through light field technology for online marketplaces.

Phood (USA): Phood is food waste prevention technology that helps food businesses reduce food waste by up to 50% and create cost savings of $100,000/yr

PurCity (Denmark): Enabling buildings into a large-scale Air Purification Systems.

Riche Biotech (Taiwan): A novel, ultra-fast and cost-effective on-site molecular testing at nursing home/LTCF for screening to prevent infection outbreak.

Saathi (India): 100% Biodegradable & Compostable all-natural sanitary pads made from Banana fiber.

Seknova Biotechnology (Taiwan): The Seknova System is the only continuous diabetes monitoring system that offers triple monitoring for early detection of complications.

SelectEd (USA): AI-powered digital platform connecting international students with US educational consultants, streamlining personalized college application

Simplify Networks (Malaysia): Simplify enables mobile subscribers to resell their excess mobile data, making everyone a little Internet Service Provider.

Team8 (France): Connectable watch for kids combining FUN, Health, Education and Security. 1st health platform dedicated for kids behind a cool game for all.

Weav-Air (Canada): WeavAir offers advanced sensors & predictive analytics solution to save energy & reduce costs of high value air distribution systems.

Wolf Dataware (Taiwan): Wolf Dataware is a cell and gene therapy platform combined with AI and blockchain to streamline the process from donor to recipients.
