After a rigorous selection process that drew 73 applicants, three standout startups were chosen to join this accelerator, each tackling mission-critical challenges with game-changing potential.

In collaboration with BAE Systems Inc. Electronic Systems sector, FAST Labs™️, and its Technology Scouting Group, MassChallenge is equipping startups with the mentorship and network needed to refine their innovations and unlock opportunities with end-users.

Meet the 2025 Cohort: Dual-Use Startups to Watch
Three standout startups were selected from 73 applicants to join this year’s BAE Systems Deep-Tech Accelerator. Each is advancing technologies with real-world defense and commercial applications.
- KMB Telematics builds high-performance radar systems using COTS chips. Their tech supports SHORAD, counter-UAS, and ISR missions. Backed by SBIR Phase II and DARPA contracts.
- Red Balloon Security secures embedded devices critical to infrastructure. Their solutions protect systems at the firmware level from cyber threats.
- Synaptrain developed NeuroLock™—a quantum-secure, ultra-low power, open-source authenticator. Their team blends neuroscience and cybersecurity expertise.
