MassChallenge and UTokyo Call for Startups Based in the U.S. to Enter the Japanese Market with Support from Corporates

MassChallenge and UTokyo IPC are partnering to offer startup alums based in the U.S. a unique opportunity to collaborate with Japan’s leading corporations, gain access to the lucrative Japanese market, and compete for non-equity cash prizes. We’re seeking innovative startups with proven business models and early revenue. Learn more about the program and apply.

By partnering with UTokyo IPC and Japanese corporations, startups can gain a foothold in the world’s third-largest economy, collaborate on new product and service development, connect with venture capitalists and corporate partners, and demonstrate their technology’s potential in real-world scenarios. Selected startups will also receive a $50,000 non-equity grant and a sponsored trip to Tokyo.

Japanese corporations are actively seeking innovative technologies to drive their growth and are particularly interested in startups that can develop new products and services that meet the needs of their customers. By partnering with these companies, startups can gain valuable insights into the Japanese market, access their distribution channels, and explore potential funding opportunities.

The partnership also offers startups guidance on navigating Japan’s complex regulatory landscape and the opportunity to enhance their brand’s visibility and credibility in the Japanese market.

About UTokyo IPC.
