Nine startup winners will join nine 2020 winners and receive an all-expenses roadshow to Boston and New York City to meet with investors, officials and business leaders.
Jerusalem – July 26, 2021: MassChallenge Israel, part of MassChallenge’s global network for innovators and zero-equity startup accelerators, today announces the 9 startup winners from the 2021 MassChallenge Israel cohort. The four-month accelerator program concluded with a finale and showcase event highlighting the achievements of the 42 participating global startups and entrepreneurs. The 9 winners will receive an all-expenses paid roadshow and business trip to Boston and New York City to meet with investors, VCs and sector-specific leaders in the global MassChallenge community in Fall 2021.

The 2021 MassChallenge Israel cohort was the most geographically diverse group to date and 43% of the startups were led by at least one female founder. The companies were based in Germany, Ghana, India, Mexico, Norway, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain, The United Arab Emirates and the United States, in addition to Israel. This year’s program featured a curated Nanotechnology and Metamaterial track powered by IAI-ELTA and an Impact Series for the entire cohort powered by Arc Impact.

IMMA (Israel) Imma reinvents the Fertility Journey by offering women a remote monitoring system to perform their own follicles ultrasound followups in the comfort, safety and intimacy of their home thus increasing access, lowering stress and saving time both for patients and physicians. #digitalfertility
Matricelf (Israel) Matricelf is developing a platform for autologous (personal) 3D printing of tissues and organs that significantly reduce the risk of rejection.
RightHear (Israel) RightHear turns public spaces into accessible environments with its audible wayfinding system for the visually-impaired, 90% of whom do not read braille.
Serenno Medical (Israel) Serenno Medical is developing a novel method to monitor, identify and avoid Acute Kidney Injury and other common, life threatening complications in Intensive Care hospitalizations.
WiDE (Israel) WiDE is a personalized digital platform for children with developmental needs, to help them overcome challenges in a playful, easy and effective way.
The winning startups were selected through a vigorous, two-part judging process where each company presented two rounds of 20 minute pitches to a panel of esteemed judges from the MassChallenge Israel community. The winning startups presented significant growth from the start of the program and demonstrate a clear path for continued success and development in their sector-specific domain.
