Selected startups have opportunity to win $2 million pesos in zero-equity prizes
Mexico City, April 26, 2017 – MassChallenge, the most startup friendly accelerator on the planet, today opened applications for its 2017 class of high-impact startups in Mexico. The application deadline is May 30, 2017.
“MassChallenge Mexico seeks to support early-stage startups from anywhere in the world, and across all industries. Our goal is to help startups to develop their businesses, so they can help drive economic growth, job creation, and impact, said Camila Lecaros, Managing Director, MassChallenge Mexico.
Selected startups participate in a four-month accelerator program where they receive hands-on support from top mentors and experts, free co-working space, access to MassChallenges unrivalled network of corporate partners, tailored workshops, and office hours. At the end of the program, top startups will compete for $2 million pesos in zero-equity prizes.
In its first year, MassChallenge Mexico received 449 applications from 21 countries around the world. MassChallenge Mexico accelerated 29 startups, supporting them with 247 experts, 64 startup workshops, and 84 office hours throughout the accelerator.
