After three rigorous rounds of judging, 110 FinTech applications, and a two-day in-person pitch event, three FinTech Challenge partners extended offers to 12 startups, setting the stage for meaningful collaborations.
MassChallenge FinTech has been a driving force in FinTech innovation since 2018, accelerating 144 startups and shaping the next generation of financial services worldwide. Each startup’s collaboration with their Challenge Partner is tailored to industry needs and strategic priorities, but all partnerships are designed to maximize startup success.

MassChallenge FinTech accelerates outcomes-driven partnerships between startups and enterprises to fuel innovation in financial services. Over the next four months, these 12 startups will collaborate 1:1 with corporate partners to tackle industry-specific challenges. These challenges focus on:

- Cyber Security Solutions
- AI Models for Compliance and Risk
- Energy Efficiency in Lending
- Workflow Automation
The 2025 FinTech Program culminates in June with a showcase and finale in Boston, where founders will present their breakthroughs demonstrating how MassChallenge connects the dots between corporate expertise, startup curriculum and access to a diverse global network of experts, mentors and investors. Among the industry leaders backing this year’s cohort is Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU), a new Challenge Partner committed to helping FinTech founders bring their solutions to market.
