Greg Powers is Vice President of Halliburton Global Innovation. In this role, he leads the Company’s efforts in building a sustainable network to identify and acquire new technologies from sources outside the oil and gas industry. Previously he was Vice President of the Technology organization. 

Dr. Powers joined Halliburton in 2010 as Vice President of Technology, where he oversaw technology investment and intellectual asset management, the development of new products and services, and the strategy and structure of the technology organization. 

Prior to Halliburton, Dr. Powers was Executive Vice President of Research, Development, and Biofuels Operations at Verenium. From 2003 to 2008 he was Vice President of Global Engineering at Carrier Corporation, and previously he held roles at General Electric, Sherwin Williams, and DuPont. Throughout his career he has been based in various locations in the United States, Europe, and Asia. 

Dr. Powers holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science, and a Doctorate in chemical engineering from University of Pennsylvania.
