Farmers suffer from a decreasing availability of labor as well as increasing levels of herbicide resistance. This has led the cost of removing weeds to surge, amounting up to $1,000/acre. Our solution leverages recent advances in computer vision, sensing, and robotics to automate the detection and removal of weeds while reducing herbicide use by 90%. We’re developing a mobile device that senses, decides, and acts on farms, significantly alleviating the labor shortage and reducing herbicide use.
